Peter Adetor

Peter Adetor leads ASSETS, driving export readiness and market expansion for African businesses. He developed AfCFTA-aligned export assessment frameworks, facilitated the AfCFTA MAPS Workshop for continental expansion, and led Ghana’s only trade mission to South Africa in 2025, securing tangible export wins and forging high-value alliances. Under his leadership, ASSETS has built capacity for SMEs across 16 African countries.

Peter also served as Team Leader & Business Mentor at Challenges Worldwide, an international development organisation headquartered in Edinburgh, UK, where he managed cross-cultural teams embedded with partner enterprises in Accra.

He is a certified Trade Advisor and AfCFTA Champion who blends grassroots consulting experience with strategic trade leadership. As an International Trade Instructor, he has engaged students from Cornell University, Howard University, the University of the West Indies, EXIM Academy, the University of Johannesburg, Walter Sisulu University, GIMPA Law, the University of Development Studies, and others.

Across continents and classrooms, Peter’s goal is clear: bridging African SMEs to global markets and making sure they thrive when they arrive.
