The organisers of the Maritime Trade Fair (MTF) 2026 have officially unveiled this year’s
theme: “Shaping Africa’s Maritime Future: Maritime, Technology and Finance.” The
announcement marks a significant step in positioning the event as a continental hub for
innovation, strategic dialogue, and cross-sector collaboration within Africa’s rapidly evolving
maritime landscape.
Taking place June 3–4, 2026, at the St. Giles Event Centre, East Airport, Accra, Ghana
the two day fair will convene a mix of industry leaders, including regulators, financiers,
insurers, technology providers, and emerging startups. The programme will feature
high impact keynote addresses, fireside chats, panel discussions, and a dynamic exhibition
showcasing cutting edge maritime and logistics technologies.
Africa’s maritime ecosystem is expanding at an unprecedented pace, and this year’s theme
underscores the need for stronger alignment between operational capability, technological
advancement, and financial innovation. By convening leaders from across the sector, MTF
2026 aims to spark the collaborations, investments, and strategic conversations that will
shape a more efficient, resilient, and competitive maritime future for the continent.
